The Knights Cup for the under-13 and under-14 age categories kicked off, organized by Al-Qadisiyah Club at the artificial auxiliary stadium in Khobar, and will continue until the 28th of this month.
On the first day of the tournament, Al-Qadisiyah’s under-13 team won against Al-Khaleej with a score of 9-1. Goals were scored by players Yassin Mustafa and Mohammed Masrahi, each getting two goals, while Abbas Ali, Salem Al-Yami, Nebras Radwan, Yazeed Awaji, and Bassam Al-Amro each scored one goal. Bassam Al-Amro from Al-Qadisiyah’s under-13 team was awarded Best Player of the Match.
In the under-14 match between Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Khaleej, Al-Qadisiyah triumphed with a score of 3-1, with goals coming from Abdullah Al-Mahri and two from Fadel Al-Sada. Fadel Al-Sada was named Best Player of the Match.
In the under-13 match between Al-Ula and Al-Ahly, the game ended in a 1-1 draw. Al-Ula’s forward Ayman Al-Tahami scored first in the first half, but in the second half, Al-Ahly’s Ismail Yassin equalized, earning him the Best Player award. In the under-14 match between Al-Ula and Al-Ahly, both teams shared the points after a goalless draw (0-0), with Mubarak Al-Suhail from Al-Ula receiving the Best Player award.
In the under-13 match between Al-Fateh and Al-Ittihad, Al-Fateh won 1-0 with a goal from Mohammed Al-Awad, who was awarded Best Player of the Match. In the under-14 match, Al-Ittihad managed to come back and win against Al-Fateh, with Yazan Al-Ali scoring the winning goal from a penalty kick in the final minutes of the match. Sattam Al-Saadoun from Al-Ittihad was named Best Player.
In the under-13 match between Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad’s players secured a 2-0 victory, with goals scored by Talal Suwaileh and Ali Mohammed Zahir. Talal Suwaileh received the Best Player award. In the under-14 match, Al-Ittihad also defeated Al-Nassr with a score of 3-2, with goals from Bandar Hani, Khalid Walid, and Jaser Doshi, while Al-Nassr’s goals were scored by Khalid Al-Qahtani and Abdullah Al-Hammad.
The tournament resumes today, Monday, for its second day with the following matches scheduled:
